The sun reflects off the water and is often brighter than on land. We highly recommend sunscreen—30 SPF or higher—and protective clothing if you're prone to burning. Polarized sunglasses also help reduce glare.
Every trip is unique! You may spot dolphins, manatees, tarpon, sharks, turtles, barracuda, and tropical birds. Reefs are home to vibrant fish and corals. While we can’t guarantee sightings, our crew will help you spot anything special—have your camera ready!
Yes! We love having families aboard. Children must be supervised by an adult, and kids 6 and under are required to wear a provided lifejacket at all times while onboard.
If the weather and conditions allow, you're welcome to man the helm and experience the thrill of sailing firsthand!
Our captain always checks the forecast. If it’s unsafe to sail, we’ll reschedule or offer a refund. Expect occasional rain in the summer, cooler winds in the winter, and smooth sailing in spring and fall. A light jacket is smart for cooler days.
Hurricanes are rare, and we always get advance warning. In the unlikely event of a storm threat, we’ll follow safety protocols and notify you right away.
If you're prone to motion sickness, we recommend taking medication 45 minutes before sailing. We do our best to keep the ride smooth. Some guests also like using motion sickness wristbands.
Yes! Feel free to bring adult beverages. We’ll have coolers stocked with ice to keep everything cold.
Usually, yes—if you can still see Key West, you’ll likely have signal. On longer overnight trips, you may lose service, but we’ll always be within VHF radio range for emergencies.
